Online Advanced Practice Nurse Schools

Advanced Practice Nurses (APN's), also referred to as Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), are typically registered nurses who have obtained an advanced education through expanded skills, knowledge, and depth of practice. To become an APN, at a minimum you'll need to earn a doctoral or masters degree in nursing.  Courses of study and certifications include Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
